After winning the 5000m at last night’s ExxonMobil Bislett Games in Oslo with a fast final 200m, Ethiopia’s Kenenisa Bekele remains alive in the chase for the $1,000,000 jackpot in the six-meeting ÅF Golden League series. Another exciting weekend in Track & Field! Last night’s Guadelupe meet kicked it off with USA’s Lashinda Demus (great article on Demus raising twins while training to make the 2008 US Olympic team here ) running a world-leading time of 54.17 to win the 400m hurdles.
